Provost Robert Bissett and a group of Labour councillors were given a lift today (Monday) when they met with Martin Kelly and Duncan Hearsum from Dial-A-Journey.
Provost Bissett, Labour Group Leader Councillor Anne Hannah and Councillors Euan Stainbank, Jack Redmond and Alf Kelly heard about the valuable service the group provides, transporting older people and people with mobility difficulties on important journeys and pleasure trips.
They take people to NHS appointments, to schools and many other journeys. They are also running summer excursions in July and August.
